On our maps of Venice Italy, Verona and Veneto page you will find a few maps that might prove useful in planning your trip. The first map shows Venice. I have highlighted, with those little markers, St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge.

The second map shows the whole of the Veneto region stretching all the way from Lake Garda in the west through to Venice in the east.

Maps in Venice are hardly needed really. There is no better city for getting lost in and making your own discoveries of “undiscovered” canals and alleys.

If you are arriving at the train station my advice is to pick up one of the maps from the tourist information office there and use that – it should be more than adequate.
