The Hotel Verona
The Hotel Verona is an excellent three star hotel, in a great location and spotlessly clean. The free bicycles for guests is a nice touch and bicycle is a great way to explore Verona. Completely different to the very modern Hotel Verona is the Gabbia d’Oro, which means Golden Cage in English. A lot more expensive too but then you do get to stay in a magnificent 18th century palace in a perfect location near Piazza Erbe and the Arena. The Ca' Sereno is a seventeenth century farmhouse set in 15 acres of grounds just outside of Treviso. Very good value, in fact the owners should really think of charging a bit more. Depending on the season you can get rooms from around 60 Euros. A huge pool, free bicycles and a great breakfast are just a few of the many other good points. The Hotel Belludi is miles ahead of any other hotel in Padua. Good value, very central location and with views of Padua’s Basilica di Sant'Antonio.
