Venice could be called the best city in the world in many respects but the weather in Venice Italy definitely won’t win any awards.
In July and August it can be really hot and very humid – occasionally reaching around 34 C / 90 F. Combine that with the masses of people that throng to Venice Italy during these months and you will realize why I recommend you avoid visiting during this time of year.Winters are often bitterly cold and on misty winter days the damp really seems to soak into your bones. is really magical. If you are coming to Venice in winter the only month to avoid weather wise is November. November is the month of the year when it rains the most and it is also the month when the high water or alta aqua occurs most frequently. Getting your feet wet on a freezing day can be a highly miserable way to experience the city. Venice weather is best in May, June and September and these are the best months to visit. The weather in Venice during this time is very pleasant and the crowds are reasonably small.
